And do you want to see what Google looked like in 2001, well you can do that here, you can even search the results from back then.

There is a clique that comes with internet speak that there is a world of knowledge out there. And that is something I think about every time I write a blog post. Web 2.0 has given an individual the tools to publish content to the internet, but it has also meant that individuals are creating stuff to go into databases and get indexed and, like I have just demonstrated, searchable in years to come.

User generated content is important and extremely useful but remember that it is accessible to the masses and it can pop up years into the future when you least expect it.
