Submitting your website to search engines has, and still remains the best way for a website to get noticed by search engines. Include a sitemap submission at the same time! Each search engine lets you submit in your own way. If you go to Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask and run a search for “submitting website” they will show you how to do it.
