The Epicentre Branding

I loved working on the Epicentre branding, creating something strong and memorable that worked across various media.

When a client we'd loved working with previously said that they wanted us to develop a new brand and a website for a new store they were looking at opening, we were delighted.

Creating a brand for such a strong identity was a great process - the whole brand unfolded naturally from the name and the location of the store. The store is located in the Lake District and this suggested the slate grey used as the base for the brand.

The shockwave device makes the brand quite flexible, because it can be placed in a number of relationships to the logotype - according to the medium the logo is being used in.

Epicentre web site

Branding integrated with the web site project

A brand never exists in isolation and so we designed the website in close association.

The branding project was undertaken with a clear understanding that it would be used at the physical store and on the website.

We designed the website shortly after the branding had been approved and delivered it as a seamless continuation of the project.
