Love Mitsy

Websites can easily look too rigid and set onto a grid, so being able to work on something so organic and textured was a real joy.

During the design meeting we looked at a whole range of competing fashion stores, and the majority were all black and white.

That didn't suit Love Mitsy one bit. This site needed to have a huge amount of personality to suit the clothes on offer.

So out went the hard lines and dull colours, and in came organic textures, layers of content and a variety of pastel shades to set the clothing off beautifully.

What made it so successful

Unique personality of the site

From the outset, Love Mitsy needed to be different, it needed to reflect the patterning and flamboyance of the clothing and create a real sense of character and warmth with the site's design. We tackled this by using layers and textures that break out of the standard rectangular grid that many sites fall into.

The whole site feels much more organic and hand crafted, and suits the clothing so much better for being so.

Feature rich site

Love Mitsy wanted to make everything as simple as they could for their customers, so they asked us to put every feature in that we had available. Product zoom to help visitors view the detail, a full size and colour matrix to order the exact variant that they wanted, multiple colour previews, sale area, multi and single use discount codes, a well used blog, and many more.
